Australia has several universities in the global top 100, with strong student support, good graduate outcomes and, in many cases, lower tuition fees than similar\u2011ranked UK options. Well\u2011known names include the University of Melbourne, University of New South Wales, the University of Sydney, Australian National University (ANU), Monash University, the University of Queensland (UQ) and Adelaide University.

Step 1: Use rankings as a starting point
<\/strong>Check global tables such as the QS World University Rankings to see which Australian universities consistently appear in the top 100. At the moment, the University of Melbourne is ranked as Australia\u2019s top university, closely followed by UNSW Sydney and the University of Sydney in most major rankings.
