Student visa tips: <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Must have Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE), offer letters are no longer valid<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Overseas student health cover (OSHC) requirements have not changed<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– If applying for student visas, please apply offshore, i.e. in Hong Kong, not<\/strong> in Australia <\/p>\n\n\n\n

–\u00a0It is\u00a0no longer possible<\/strong>\u00a0to apply for an ETA and then apply for a student visa\u00a0onshore<\/p>\n\n\n\n

–\u00a0Australian institutions are now \u201cprioritised\u201d according to tiers. Those TAFE\/universities with 80% enrolment are considered \u201cPriority 2\u201d, those under 80% enrolment are \u201cPriority 1\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Primary and Secondary school enrolments are not affected<\/p>\n\n\n\n

485 temporary graduate visa tips: <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you have just graduated from an Australian university, please take note of the following: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

– You must have completed Bachelor degree or above<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Must have studied a minimum of 16 calendar months<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Graduate certificates not considered <\/strong>as part of 500 student +485 temporary graduate visa for Hong Kong stream<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Graduate diplomas are considered <\/strong>if completed within same <\/strong>or next academic year and are related to your qualification<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

– You must apply in Australia <\/p>\n\n\n\n

– You must apply 6 months from the date stated on your completion letter from your university <\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Must have completed IELTS or equivalent and have overall score of 6 in the last 12 months<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Have Overseas Visitor Health Cover (OVHC) insurance <\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Have AFP (Australia) check completed as well as CNCC (Hong Kong)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
